PENANG NATIONAL PARK

The Penang National Park is situated at Teluk Bahang, the Southwestern District, 20 kilometre from Georgetown. The 1381 hectare national park covers gazetted land and sea areas.

Penang National Park or Taman Negara Pulau Pinang is a beautiful rainforest. The entrance is beautifully maintained with toilet and vending machine facilities. Enter the park itself and after a few minutes walk you take a turn into the forest trail. From here it is about a two hour slow walk to Pantai Kerachut. It is a fairly easy trek.
